The mysteries of the kingdom of God are readily available and are shown and given to as many that are willing and earnestly desiring to be fed with them. How marvelous, beautiful and sweet are they to the hunger and poor in the spirit. What the humble hearts and empty souls had always hungered for are in their pure truths laid bare by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. God, who is LOVE and His Son, who is the WISDOM of the father, through whom he created everything, even the WORD that spoke existence into its creative beings, is once again telling this generation of the end times to know the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is saying “I lay before you life and death, choose life.”
“And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” He answered and said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore, I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand … But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear; for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”
He is no longer speaking in parables! It is now revealed! God created man in the beginning so that he (man) SHOULD develop and grow his spirit-being through the works of virtues to the perfection of LOVE in himself, the pure and perfect LOVE. This PERFECT LOVE is the embodiment and personification of God Himself. Through this(man’s) journey to PERFECTION, man will become as it was written in the scriptures: “You must be PERFECT just as your heavenly father is PERFECT.” And also that “You are gods; you are all SONS of the Most High.” “Be IMITATORS of God, therefore, as beloved CHILDREN,” “We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone PERFECT in Christ.”
Christ lived on earth and through his deeds, he loved all humans and loved God in obedience. He finished the work of love on the cross and gained entrance into heaven showing us perfect example as God had intended for man to live when he was first created so that ultimately, he may enter into the rest of God just like Christ did.
Christ has played his role to save humanity but we must believe in what he had done for us and then we are to play our own roles when we take up our cross and follow him in hope, faith, and love: daily living exactly like the master lived on earth. For after we are saved, without living in the deeds of love, we cannot make it into god rest (heaven): 1 John 3:14 says, “We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.”
